FFP2 masks are particle-filtering half masks that have a filter performance of at least. Guarantee 94% (FFP2 / KN95 / N95) of aerosols and particulate matter up to a size of 0.6 μm. FFP2 masks are therefore suitable for effective protection against solid and liquid harmful dusts, smoke, bacteria and viruses that are inhaled through the air we breathe. The mouth and nose area is completely covered for optimal protection. FFP2 protective masks are tested in accordance with European standards (EN 149). Health authorities often refer to these standards to protect against viruses such as coronavirus during an epidemic, pandemic, or emergency situations. In case of doubt, inform yourself directly from the Federal Office of Public Health about extensive respiratory protection regulations.
